Came here for 2 night stay, had a fairly nice experience. The staff was incredible, accommodating all the time. The room was recently refurbished and reasonably large with smoke detectors for safety measures. The food was superb, with variety of options. Location: the hotel was next to the historic nature of the inn, Near excellent shopping centres and larger areas of interest.

This place has modern decor, friendly staff, particularly a helpful young employee, and a good selection of cereals and pastries for breakfast.

The food was good and the drinks reasonably priced. We enjoyed the conviviality of the bar.

We were a group of eight and could only be accommodated in the bar for dinner. The manager got a bit grumpy when we dined out on the second night, separating our table for eight for breakfast into four tables of two.

I liked the feel of the old coaching inn. The staff members were all very helpful. There was plenty of hearty food at breakfast and the management presented different food on the evening menu.
